1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using l663.guide ("the Platform"), subscribing to our newsletter, or engaging with any content published by The L663, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. About The L663

The L663 is an independent editorial platform providing curated content, reliability intelligence, modification guidance, and ownership signal for Land Rover Defender L663 owners and prospective buyers.

The L663 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Land Rover, Jaguar Land Rover Limited, or any of its subsidiaries or dealers. The Land Rover and Defender names, the L663 designation, and related model identifiers (90, 110, 130, Pivi, Pivi Pro, etc.) are used for identification and editorial purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Platform or subscribe to our newsletter. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. No Professional Advice

Content published on The L663 is editorial and informational in nature. It does not constitute and should not be relied upon as:

  • Mechanical or automotive advice — content about vehicle reliability, modifications, and known issues reflects community reporting and editorial synthesis, not professional mechanical diagnosis. Always consult a qualified mechanic or Land Rover dealer before making service or repair decisions.
  • Legal advice — any discussion of warranties, consumer rights, or regulatory matters is informational only. Consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but automotive information evolves as manufacturers issue updates, community experience accumulates, and previously reported issues are resolved or reclassified. Content reflects the best available information at the time of publication or last update.

5. Content Accuracy and Currency

We strive to keep content accurate and up to date. However:

  • Known issue statuses, Pivi update verdicts, and modification recommendations may change as new information becomes available.
  • "Last updated" dates are displayed on applicable content to indicate freshness.
  • Community-sourced information (forum reports, owner experiences) is presented as such and is not independently verified unless stated otherwise.
  • We may update or correct content at any time without notice.

You are responsible for verifying information that is critical to your vehicle, safety, or financial decisions.

6. Newsletter

6.1 Subscription

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving editorial emails at the frequency described at the time of signup (currently weekly). You also consent to receiving transactional emails related to your subscription (confirmation, welcome).

6.2 Unsubscribe

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately. See our Privacy Policy for information on data retention after unsubscribing.

6.3 CAN-SPAM Compliance

Our newsletters comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every email includes: a valid physical mailing address, clear identification of the message as an advertisement where applicable, and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism.

7. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships

The L663 participates in affiliate programs. Some links on the Platform and in our newsletter lead to third-party retailers. If you make a purchase through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Content

All original editorial content, design, branding, and code on The L663 is owned by YNOT Creative LLC and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish our content without written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution in editorial or review contexts.

9.2 Third-Party Trademarks

Land Rover, Defender, Pivi, Pivi Pro, and related designations are trademarks of Jaguar Land Rover Limited. All other product names, brand names, and trademarks referenced on the Platform are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

9.3 User Submissions and User-Generated Content

If you submit content to us — including build submissions, photographs, email replies, or any other materials ("User Content") — you represent that:

  • You own or control all rights to the User Content
  • The User Content does not violate the rights of any third party
  • The User Content is not false, defamatory, harassing, or abusive

By submitting User Content, you grant The L663 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute the User Content in connection with the Platform, including in our newsletter, website, and social media. You retain ownership of your User Content.

We may add editorial framing, affiliate links, and contextual commentary to published User Content. We may refuse or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. We will seek explicit permission before publishing content attributed to you by name.

Build submissions: If you submit a build feature (vehicle details, modification list, photographs), we will strip EXIF metadata from images before publication to protect your privacy. Published editorial content derived from your submission may remain on the Platform after account deletion, per the license granted at submission, but will no longer be attributed to your account.

You may request removal of your User Content by contacting hello@l663.guide.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The L663 and YNOT Creative LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on any content published on the Platform, or any action taken based on information provided through the Platform.

This includes, without limitation, damages related to vehicle modifications, repair decisions, purchasing decisions, or any other action taken based on editorial content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YNOT Creative LLC, its officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.1 Binding Arbitration

You and YNOT Creative LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator in Seattle, Washington.

13.2 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

13.3 Opt-Out

You may opt out of binding arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to hello@l663.guide. If you opt out, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State, USA.

13.4 Small Claims Exception

Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim falls within that court's jurisdiction.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 13) will remain in effect.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Paid Membership Terms

17.1 Subscription Plans

The L663 offers paid membership at pricing determined by YNOT Creative LLC. Current plans, pricing, and benefits are listed on the Platform. Plans may include monthly subscriptions and one-time lifetime purchases.

17.2 Founding Member Pricing

Members who subscribe during the founding window (the first 12 months after membership launches) receive a locked monthly rate for the duration of their continuous subscription. This rate will not increase for founding members for as long as their membership remains active, in good standing, and without interruption. If a founding member cancels and later resubscribes, the then-current rate will apply.

17.3 Billing and Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. By enrolling, you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide on each billing date. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If payment fails, we may suspend membership access until billing is resolved.

17.4 Automatic Renewal

Monthly memberships automatically renew each billing cycle at the then-current rate (or your locked founding rate, if applicable). You will be charged on the same date each month. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase for non-founding members.

17.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by using the account dashboard or emailing hello@l663.guide. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to membership features through the remainder of the period you have already paid for.

17.6 No Refunds

Membership payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, you are not charged for subsequent billing periods, but no refund is issued for the current period. Lifetime membership purchases are non-refundable.

17.7 Changes to Membership

We may modify membership features, benefits, or pricing. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

18. Artificial Intelligence

The L663 may use AI tools to assist in content creation, research, and platform operations. AI-assisted content may contain errors. You are responsible for independently verifying information critical to your vehicle, safety, or financial decisions.

You agree not to use content from the Platform to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model without our express prior written consent.
